A movie you wished more people had seen
Jon Favreaus directorial debut, Made seems to have been missed by everybody I try and recommend it too. Max (Favreau), a boxer who takes on a a job for a mob boss and takes his wannabe gangster friend Ricky (Vaughn) along for the ride which all goes fine until they run into problems when they meet Ruiz (Sean Combs).
The film features wonderful direction and a razor sharp script from Favreau who proves that he’s still the only person that can write decent lines for Vaughn (it makes sense they are best friends after all). Stealing every scene he’s in though is Sean Combs, playing an over the top caricature of himself this film proved he’s worth as an actor long before films like Monsters Ball made people realise he could act.
Everybody should check this film out.
